Pneumatic Clinching Machine

Pneumatic Clinching Machine

Pneumatic Clinching Machine is generally less expensive than hydraulic or electric models, making them a cost-effective option for small-scale production. It is typically faster than other types of clinching machines, due to the rapid cycling of the air pressure. It is a fast, clean, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fastening methods like welding or riveting, as it does not require heat or additional materials. Clinching is commonly used in the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries, as well as in sheet metal fabrication and assembly.

Applications

Pneumatic Clinching Machine is a fast, clean, and environmentally friendly fastening solution, it is a cold fastening or joining alternative to traditional fastening methods like welding or riveting, as it does not require heat or additional materials.

Available for a variety of different sheet metals, including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, and works to join sheets of different thicknesses, etc.

Available for SPR-self piercing riveting process, and rivet bolts rivet nuts clinching process.

The clinching process is commonly used in the ventilation duct, exhaust systems, structural components, Body-in-White (BIW), interior and exterior trim assembly, battery assembly, heat exchangers, automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries, as well as in sheet metal fabrication and assembly, etc.

Hydraulic Clinching Machine is also available here.

Pneumatic Clinching Machine Specifications

It adopts a powerful hydro-pneumatic system with 40Kn/50Kn/80Kn pressure. Gantry milling process the machine punching molds base to ensure high precision performance. Pneumatic step-less pressure regulation, and low noise.

Reasonable design punching and dies molds to deform the metal sheets. The punch pushes the top sheet of metal into a specially designed die, which creates a groove or channel in the bottom sheet. The punch then continues to push the top sheet of metal down into the groove or channel, causing the metal to plastically deform and interlock. This creates a strong mechanical joint between the two sheets of metal.

Features

  • Powerful hydro-pneumatic system with 40Kn/50Kn/80Kn pressure, to create a strong mechanical joint between the two sheets of metal.
  • Speed: Pneumatic clinching machines are typically faster than other types of clinching machines, due to the rapid cycling of the air pressure.
  • Low noise: Pneumatic clinching machines produce relatively low levels of noise compared to other types of metalworking equipment, which can be an advantage in certain environments.
  • Less maintenance: Pneumatic clinching machines require minimal maintenance and are relatively easy to clean and lubricate.
  • Cost-effective: Pneumatic clinching machines are generally less expensive than hydraulic or electric models, making them a cost-effective option for small-scale production.
